Teng-Kuan Wang, a collaborative pianist, born in Taiwan, started studying the piano when he was six and started playing the violin when he was eleven. He joined the music class of Chaiyi Junior High School where he majored in piano and minored in violin. He organized a piano trio compete the chiayi city music competition and won the first prize. From there, he went on to attend the music class of Chaiyi Senior High School. In the three years Kuan a full scholarship from the school for the three years he attended. In 2003, Kuan entered the music department at Soochow University; his majored in piano, and he also played euphonium in the wind orchestra of the music department.
In 2010, Kuan retired from the military band and received a full scholarship to study collaborative piano in a masters program with Lisa Leonard and Tao Lin; he still kept teaching as well. Now Kuan is now participating in the DMA program of Collaborative Piano with Timothy Lovelace and desires to continue his teaching career.

Hsuan-Wen Lin

Hsuan-Wen Lin is currently the director of the Conservatory of Music and a music/ orchestra teacher at the Yinghua Academy. She attained her doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota, majoring in violin performance. She is also a certified Suzuki teacher with the American Suzuki Association.
Lin has frequently been invited to perform in professional orchestras and local concerts. In 2008, she was invited to be the concertmaster of the Mississippi Valley Orchestra Christmas concert, The Nutcracker. In 2009 and 2011, she performed with the New Music Ensemble on the University of Minnesota tour in Wisconsin and Iowa. In 2012, she was invited to be the concertmaster of the National Music Festival. In the same year, one of her performances, Erwin Schulhoff's duo, was featured in World Journal. The Minnesota Daily also covered and published her solo recital on, Gunther Schuller's Duologue. In 2014 and 2015, she performed in different occasions including Skrowaczewski's 90th birthday concert in Minnesota Orchestra Hall and concerts with Chamber Music Society of Minnesota.

Bianca Liang

Bianca Liang grow up in Taiwan and started playing the piano at the age of six. Liang holds her bachelor degree in piano performance from University of Minnesota (2009) and received her Master of Music degree in the same from the world-renowned Jacob School of Music at Indiana University – Bloomington (2012).
Liang has been actively performing solo and chamber music as a pianist. With a strong interest in piano accompanying, she frequently appears in concerts and events in collaboration with vocalists, choir, and instrumentalists. She also dedicates herself to piano teaching, currently serving as a piano instructor in Minnetonka Music Academy and her own music studio.

Huei-Mei Jhou

Dr. Jhou is a native of Taiwan, and completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in Flute Performance under Prof. Immanuel Davis at the University of Minnesota. She teaches flute master classes in North Dakota and Minnesota, including the Minnesota All-State Band and International Music Camp. Her dissertation, entitled, Pedagogy of Influential Selected Works by Marcel Moyse: A Modern Perspective, focuses on flute pedagogy and thoughts behind Marcel Moyse’s works and how students could apply modern practice performance tools to master Moyse’s studies and exercises. Dr. Jhou is also regularly invited to present during flute workshops for the Minnesota Music Education Association and Minnesota Music Teacher Association regarding advanced flute performance techniques, including use of the breathing bag. Dr. Jhou was also invited to present at the Marcel Moyse Society for an essay contest during the 42nd National Flute Association Convention in Chicago.
Dr. Jhou has participated in a variety of music ensembles, orchestras, and chamber ensembles. Currently, she is serving as Flute and Music Instructor at Princeton High School and the Minnesota Renaissance School.

Yi-Ming Chen

Yi-Ming Chen is active in playing chamber music. She received her D.M.A. in Violin Performance from the University of Minnesota in 2007, where she studied with Young-Nam Kim and also earned her Master’s Degree in 2004.
She was invited to participate in the concerts of the Chamber Music Society of Minnesota and their Lowertown Noontime series concerts with many guest musicians. During her years at the University of Minnesota, Chen was a member of the symphony orchestra and the New Music Ensemble, with whom she toured to the University of Wisconsin- Madison and the University of Iowa. Her quartet was selected for master classes with Robert Mann and the Daedalus Quartet. They were also selected to perform at the Elliott Carter Festival in 2006. Currently she is teaching and freelancing in the Twin Cities.

Kent Cheng

A native of Taiwan, Kent Cheng started playing the violin at age of 6. He has been studied at Nanmen Junior High School,Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University,and National Taiwan University of Arts with professors ShuDe Lee and ChangKao Deng.
After graduated from Eastman School of Music, Kent Cheng came to University of Minnesota and studied with Mr.Young-Nam Kim for the doctoral degree of Musical Art. Kent Cheng has been teaching and playing since graduated in 1999.

Kuang-Sheng Cheng

Kuang-Sheng is a classical music lover. He was member in the Taiwan Online Library concert planning team in 2010 (Introduction of Taiwanese composer Tyzen Hsiao), and 2011 (Taiwan Love Stories). He is a software engineer in DirectTV.

Vincent Wen-Chen Hsia

Vincent Wen-Chen Hsia graduated from Peking University and received his Ph.D. degree in law. He has worked as the senior legal counsel of many organizations for several years and taught legal courses in universities over ten years. He was also a guest presenter of China Business News (CBN) Radio.

Christina Huang grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. She completed a degree in Education and a minor in Visual Arts at Taipei Municipal University of Education, and her MFA at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is a graphic designer interested in combining different media to articulate her concepts. She wants to use graphic design as a tool to push the boundaries between different media. She also spent four years training with the Taiwanese National Karate Team.
After winning the silver medal in the Asia Games in 2010, she moved to the US to pursue graduate education. Her experience as an athlete has shaped her diligent work ethic, and she brings this rigor to her design work. You can currently find her living and working in Brooklyn, New York.
