Jason McGrath

Professor of the Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Minnesota
He is a professor in the department of Asian Languages and Literatures, Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature in the University of Minnesota. He receive his PhD and MA degree in department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations in the University of Chicago. He specialize in Chinese and international cinemas, Modern and contemporary Chinese literature and culture, Realism in fiction, film, and theory.


Joe Allen

Professor of the Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Minnesota
He is a professor in the department of Asian Languages/Literatures. He receive his PhD degree in Chinese Literature, University of Washington, Seattle, WA. He specialize in China and Taiwan society, Chinese poetry and poetics.


Hong Guo-Juin

Professor of Duke University
He is a Associate Professor of Chinese Literature and Culture. He receive his Ph.D. in Rhetoric with a designated emphasis in Film Studies, Advanced to Candidacy with Distinction in University of California, Berkeley. His research interesting includes Film historiography, film theory, sound studies, postcolonial theory and theories of culture and globalization; film and other media of Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
