The Taiwanese film festival has been for advocating Taiwanese movie culture in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, since 2010. The theme for this year is " love" . We selected two films: "When Love Comes", and "Cape No. 7".

In addition to the movies, we have invited University of Minnesota professors from the Department of Asian Languages and Literatures to host a forum and to give a thorough introduction of Taiwanese movies: [Girlfriend. Boyfriend]. Pizza will be served.

At the same time the movies are being shown on Saturday, Oct 18, a Taiwanese art exhibit will simultaneously occur. This will provide an opportunity to let the film-goers learn about the artists and their works in the Taiwanese community.

After playing movies, a traditional Taiwanese green bean mooncake will be served to provide you the complete and rish Taiwanese culture.

All of the movies have English subtitle. And all of introduction and discussion will in English. We invite you to join us at this wonderful event.
